Loch Garten Nature Reserve - Loch Garten Osprey Centre
Nestling in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains and close to the famous River Spey the Loch Garten Osprey Centre is the spiritual home of Ospreys in the UK. In 1954 the reserve was the site of the first breeding attempt by migrating Ospreys after they disappeared from Britain in the 1900’s. Since then the centre has been developed to contain viewing facilities, live nest cameras and a shop.
